![]() ![]() It looks like the restaurant is listed at $50 - $100 per person. Although I liked my meal, my dad's meal of Roasted Carrots and Rack of Lamb looked perfect. I really loved that the Peas tasted fresh in both the Scallops and the Rice & Peas. I had the Scallops my 1st course, Rice & Peas as my Small Plate, and the Rabbit Saddle Roulade as my main course. I had a custom drink which looked like sunshine and tasted delicious. My sister didn't like the location of the table, so we opted to wait a little longer and got a booth. We arrived and there was a short wait while they finished seeing the table. We called ahead and made reservations for 6 at 7:30pm. I'll credit mother nature for that one though.Īt the recommendation of the lady I sat next to on UA2237 flight, my family and I tried Snake River Grill. If none of that concerns you then you will indeed have a beautiful landscape to enjoy during your stay. However, the point is my kids could have easily gotten a decent breakfast had the staff decided to assist me in some way. Due to time constraints (the whole reason I needed a take out option) I couldn't take things to this level. The manager even confirmed to me that I could take a table, order from their full menu, and then request it all be placed in to go containers. This is normally fine, but if you have kids who don't eat their extremely limited breakfast menu the staff won't lift a finger to help accommodate you in any way. To make things more interesting their restaurant has a limited take-out menu. The guests will make far more noise than my dog ever will. The logic behind that is completely lost on me. If you have a dog the lodge will force you take one of these lower rooms. ![]() ![]() After they have checked out (even if it's 8 am) you will then be greeted by cleaning staff that immediately follows. If you enjoy your sleep I would recommend staying away from booking any room that will have a guest above you. And hopefully others reviewing the food aren't giving fabulous marks simply because of the rather high price tag.because nobody wants to feel like they overpaid for something, do they? Hopefully it was just a couple bad nights and not the norm. I will add that the breakfasts were quite phenomenal.but they are just breakfast. Nonetheless, this is only one part of the stay at Jenny Lake Lodge, but it is a big part of why we decided to return. ![]() Had the servers not been so amazing, I probably would have (and probably should have) complained. But overall, I don't believe that the meals any of the three of us ate were worth the $115 price tag (before drinks and tips) that they have affixed to the five-course meal. But, if I am honest and avoid trying to convince myself that I didn't get taken, I have to say that both dinners we had on this latest visit were actually a bit disappointing. And the creme de la creme is the promise of a gourmet breakfast and five course dinner at the AAA Four-Diamond restaurant. The extras like horseback riding and daily events are really special. The staff is some of the best you will ever encounter at any resort.not to mention at lodging within a National Park. The cabins here are really comfortable and all have some form of a view of the mountains. We had such an enjoyable time the first time, we made a point of returning when we were back in the area. This was our second trip to stay at the Jenny Lake Lodge.the first one being 8 years ago. ![]()
